Community project proposal
Pitch a project to the city council
The prompt
Create a Slides proposal to the Ashford Falls City Council for relighting, repairing and painting the Rail Street underpass as a safe walking route in Millrace. Use 8 slides: title, the problem today, the proposal, a before-and-after description, community support, cost and funding ($186,000 total, with $96,000 requested from the city), the timeline, and the ask.
Make it yours
- Change the details in the prompt to fit residents & civic groups.
- For example, change it so that it is for a school board in Duluth asking to turn an empty bus depot into a teen maker space and the budget is $240,000 with a $120,000 request.
- Ask for edits in plain words: tone, colors, length, layout or data.
- Share the result by link or export it when you are done.
